Korto is on the hunt for an exceptional head barista/ Supervisor to join our team of friendly and passionate staff at our café / roastery in Muswell Hill. Situated behind Alexandra Palace, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service whilst serving the highest quality coffee and food. Our head barista will enjoy working in a fast-passed cafe environment while leading our team to work hard and have fun! Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience of speciality coffee, a solid work ethic, be proactive, organised, professional and have a good sense of humour. Responsibilities will include the following - Building upon the “Korto Coffee Standards” - Maintaining these standards in line with quality, preparation and presentation - Create a seasonal, rotating coffee offering - Build positive relationships with our regular customers - Managing customer experience ensuring consistency of service at all times - Training and on-boarding new staff - Be responsible for opening and closing procedures - Liaising with suppliers, ordering and stock management - Communicating customer and staff feedback to the Directors - Building and maintaining a positive working environment - dialing in a variety of coffees to achieve optimum extraction and taste - steam milk to a very high standard to produce microfoam consistency for the range of drinks - producing exceptional latte art
Korto opens 7 days a week from 9am – 3pm
